Fideles Rent a Car – Rental Terms & Conditions

1. Driver’s Requirements

  • Minimum driver’s age: 23 years old for all car categories.

  • A valid driving license held for at least 12 months is required.

  • The driver must present a valid passport or ID card.

 

2. Rental Period

  • Minimum rental period: 1 day (12 hours), from 09:00 to 21:00.

  • Early return of the vehicle is non-refundable.

 

3. Fuel Policy

  • Vehicles are provided with a certain fuel level and must be returned with the same level.

  • Missing fuel will be charged according to the current fuel price.

 

4. Insurance Coverage

All rentals include:

  • Third-Party Liability Insurance – covers damages to other vehicles and property, and injury to third parties.

  • Full Damage Waiver (FDW) – eliminates the renter’s responsibility for damages, except for exclusions listed below.

 

Insurance does not cover:

  • Damage caused by driving off-road or on unpaved roads.

  • Loss of keys or documents.

  • Driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or reckless driving.

 

5. Use of the Vehicle

  • The vehicle may only be driven within the island of Rhodes.

  • Ferry transport is prohibited.

  • Only the drivers listed in the rental agreement are permitted to drive.

 

6. Traffic Fines & Violations

  • All fines and administrative penalties resulting from traffic violations during the rental period are the renter’s responsibility.

 

7. Breakdown or Accident

  • In case of an accident, the renter must immediately notify Fideles Rent a Car and the police.

  • In case of mechanical breakdown, contact our 24/7 assistance number provided in your contract.

 

8. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the rental start date: free of charge.

  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the rental start date: subject to a 1-day rental charge.

  • No-show without prior notice: full rental amount charged.

 

9. Payment

  • Payment can be made in cash or by credit/debit card.

 

10. Governing Law

  • The rental agreement is governed by Greek law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Rhodes.
