General Information
Drivers age: The drivers age must be between 23-75.
Drivers License: A valid driving license held at least one year is required.
According to applicable EU legislation, all drivers licenses issued in Europe, North America, Australia, Russia, Turkey and Israel are acceptable provided the data feature therein are also transcribed in Latin Characters.
Ferrying the car: It is not permitted
Cancellation: You can cancel your reservation for free by contacting us. Please inform us at least 48 hours prior to the rental start date.
Payment: In cash or via credit/debit card.
Fuel:The renter is responsible for paying for the fuel. The fuel policy is “same to same,” meaning the renter is obliged to return the car with the same fuel level as marked on the rental agreement at the start of the rental period. No refund is offered if the car is returned with more fuel than it had at the time of pick-up.
Traffic Violations: All traffic and/or parking violations during the rental period are at the renters responsibility.
Only designated drivers indicated in the rental agreement will be permitted to drive the car.
Insurance Policies:
The insurance policies solely and exclusively cover accidents. The effectiveness of the insurance policy is conditional upon the appropriate use of the vehicle and adherence to internationally applicable rules of motorized vehicle operation. Additionally, the lessee must observe all terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement. Third-party liability coverage is provided for all FIDELES RENT A CAR vehicles.
Theft Protection:Coverage is extended to the vehicle and all its appurtenances. Coverage does not include personal items, valuables, electrical appliances, money, or any other items not related to the vehicle.
Fire Protection: Caused as a consequence of collision.
Collision- Material Damages: Damages may be covered as a whole on a Full Damage Waiver. There will be no insurance coverage for cars loaded on shops, trains etc. or stationed in areas not formally designated as public parking lots. Insurance becomes ineffective in case of unconventional or reckless use of the vehicle or in the event of the vehicle being driven on non-tarmacked roads or within non-tarmacked parking lots.
Glass pane breakage coverage: Coverage includes all peripheral glass panes. Internal panes, such as those on the radio board, are not covered unless breakage occurs as a result of an accident.
Responsibilities of the Lessee: The Lessee is expected to return the vehicle at the time and place specified in the lease agreement or to the location where the vehicle was originally leased. Under no circumstances may the Lessee be considered or act as an agent for FIDELES RENT A CAR. The Lessee is not entitled to have the vehicle repaired or execute any documents related to liabilities, indemnities, or similar matters.
Use of the car:
The car will not be operated:
- For paid transportation
- to propel or tow any vehicle
- in any race, speed test or transport
- by any person under the influence of alcohol and/or narcotics
- to carry passengers in excess of the respective seating capacity
- in any non-asphalt road or highway
- by any less than 23 years old unqualified driver
Return of the car: The renter is obligated to return the car on or before the agreed date, time, and location specified in the rental agreement. Failure to comply with the agreement gives the lessor (Fideles Rent a Car) the right to apply a surcharge for the late return as defined by the rental agreement. If the renter returns the car more than 1 hour past the agreed time or at a different location, the lessor has the right to charge the client for an extra rental day.
Extension of rental period: The renter is obliged to inform the renter at least 24 hours if he/she wishes to prolong the rental duration.
Out of business hours: If you request to hire a car outside business hours (07:00 – 23:00) an additional fee of 25€ will be charged.
Car Types & Availability: Reservations are always confirmed for a given Car Group – not for a specific car model.
Fideles Rent a Car reserves the right to provide a different car model than the one originally reserved, of an equivalent or higher car group.
No-show policy: If the renter fails to collect the vehicle on the rental start date and time without prior written or telephone notice, Fideles Rent a Car will cancel the reservation and is not obligated to provide a refund. Fideles Rent a Car reserves the right to charge the renter for one day’s rental of the reserved car group.
Fideles Rent a Car reserves the right to refuse car delivery if the client does not provide the required documents (driver’s license and identity card) at the time of vehicle pick-up.
Early vehicle return: You may return the vehicle earlier than the scheduled return date and time specified in the contract; however, you will not be eligible for a refund for the unused rental period.
Pick up/Drop off: Free pick up and drop off is available within 20 kilometers of our main office (Giorgou Seferi & Mavilis 1, Rhodes, 85133, Greece). For deliveries beyond 20 kilometers, there is an additional charge, and the rental duration must be a minimum of 3 days.
Road Assistance: We provide 24/7 road assistance for all inherent mechanical faults related to the vehicle. However, for other assistance call-outs, such as refueling, key loss, and keys locked in the vehicle, a service fee will be charged.
Additional Driver: You can add an additional driver at no extra cost.
Mileage Limit: We offer unlimited mileage for free for all car groups.
Baby Seats: We provide three types of baby seats (available upon request)
